Ages 16+

Individual Therapy

  • Are you experiencing challenges at work, uni, or in your relationships?
  • Is it difficult to wake up in the morning to face your day?
  • Does anxiety stop you from seeing friends, dating, or going to events?
  • Do you get so overwhelmed that daily tasks feel impossible?
  • Do you lack self-belief?
  • Are you a people pleaser, sacrificing your wants or needs?
  • Are you navigating a new phase in life, such as parenthood or retirement?
  • Have you lost someone close to you?
  • Have you lost sight of who you are or questioned your identity?
  • Do you feel like a passenger in life?
Life throws us many challenges and it can feel like we are ill-equipped to overcome them. People are often asking themselves questions that seem to have no answer, or they might feel like their own brain is working against them. Individual therapy is a confidential, non-judgemental space to explore all these questions and more. It can be whatever you need it to be.

Individual Therapy Methods

Our psychologists don't work exclusively with one method. Instead, they draw on some of the following techniques to tailor their approach to your unique self and goals.
  • Psycho-education
  • Cognitive behaviour Therapy (CBT)
  • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
  • Dialetical Behaviour Therapy (DBT)
  • Schema Therapy
  • Solution Focused Therapy
  • Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT)
  • Narrative Therapy
  • Motivational Interviewing
  • Strengths Based Therapy.
Research has demonstrated that the working relationship you build with your psychologist is more important than the method being used. This is why we work so hard to provide a safe space for all to feel welcome, heard, and supported.

Couples & Relationship Therapy

Couples & Relationship Therapy

  • Are you experiencing challenges in your relationship?
  • Is communicating with your partner difficult?
  • Do you feel your partner doesn't understand you?
  • Do you or your partner get defensive when feedback is given?
  • Has your relationship lost its intimacy?
  • Have you lost sight of who you are outside of your relationship?
  • Are you navigating a new phase in your relationship, such as parenthood or retirement?
In relationships, we can be asking ourselves a lot of questions. Often, we feel these questions might cause conflict or risk ruining our relationship, so we keep quiet. If this is you, couples therapy could hold some of the answers.

The Gottman Method

Gottman Therapy is often referred to as the gold standard when it comes to building stronger relationships because it is derived from 4 decades of research about why some relationships are long-lasting and fulfilling and others are not. It is a process-oriented, cognitive, emotionally based approach to assisting you as a couple in gaining a better understanding of each other and developing a range of new skills and behaviours that foster a closer, more intimate relationship where arguing and conflict are managed much more harmoniously. Part of the success of the Gottman Method is that it always begins with a thorough assessment of your relationship, providing an in-depth understanding of both of you as individuals and of your relationship.

  • Do you see yourself in a friend or loved one with ADHD?

It seems like ADHD is everywhere these days. It's been heartwarming to see the world slowly open itself up to neurodivergence and how a diagnosis of ADHD has changed peoples' lives. But navigating the diagnosis process has become a stress for many. Our assessments are designed to be cost-effective, timely, and most importantly to help you understand your struggles. It is important to note that Psychologists and GPs cannot assist you with medication. For this, you will need to see a Psychiatrist.

  • Online questionnaires
  • One hour appointment
  • Feedback phone call
  • Letter with result
This is not a diagnostic assessment, it screens to determine if an ADHD diagnosis is likely and would warrant further investigation.

After session reflection

In therapy most of the work occurs between sessions when you're living your everyday life. It can be hard to find the time to reflect on your sessions in a dilberate meaningful way. As such, we invite you to complete an after session reflection the day after your appointment. Your reflection will be sent directly to your psychologist and remain confidential.
