Rebates
If you visit your GP, psychiatrist, or paediatrician for a Mental Health Care Plan and referral, you’re eligible to receive Medicare rebates for up to 10 sessions per calendar year, with a rebate of $96.65 per session.
If you have reached your Medicare safety net, your rebate amount will be significantly higher.
To access these rebates, please ensure you obtain a Mental Health Care Plan before your first session with us.
We’ll take care of processing the Medicare rebate for you, and you should receive the amount via bank transfer from Medicare within 48 hours of your appointment.
If you have private health insurance with Extras cover, you may be eligible for rebates. Since policies vary and can change, we recommend checking directly with your health fund to confirm your specific entitlements.
We claim directly with TAC or Workcover, as such you have no out of pocket expenses. You will need to pay for any no-show or cancellation fees.
