Allied health is working through a period of real uncertainty. Funding is shifting, and the changes to the NDIS, both the ones already here and the ones still coming, make it harder to plan ahead and commit to fixed overheads. We want to support practitioners through this however we can.
We have three consulting rooms in Kew, and we would rather see them used than sitting empty. So we have kept the rates competitive and the arrangement flexible: book by the hour, pay only for what you use, no lease, no lock-in. If you would prefer the certainty of a regular contracted space, that option is there too.
Three rooms, all at the same hourly rate. Two are fully furnished for talking-therapy work; one is partially furnished, a long narrow room suited to body-based practitioners or assessment work.
Our compact consulting room. Bright natural light with adjustable blinds, swivel seating, and a desk, set up for one-on-one therapy and assessment.
Our largest fully furnished room. A comfortable sofa, bright light, and open floor space, suited to talking therapy and body-based work that uses a mat.
A long narrow room with a flexible footprint. Move the bookshelf out for floor space, suited to body-based practitioners. Leave the desk and two chairs in place for assessment work. Quiet, with minimal distractions.
Waiting area and kitchenette, available to all renters.
Two of our rooms are fully furnished for therapy and assessment work, with comfortable seating, a desk, and soft lighting. The third is set up for body-based practitioners.
A dedicated practitioner network, suitable for telehealth sessions and large file uploads.
Public access to the building is restricted after-hours. The door to our suite opens with a personal access code, which we issue you on approval. Codes are strictly personal and cannot be shared.
A comfortable, quiet waiting area with seating, water, tea and coffee, and reading material for your clients.
Kettle, tea and coffee, filtered water, and fridge access between sessions. Your clients are welcome to use it too.

The same rates apply to all three rooms. The longer the block, the lower the effective hourly rate, from A$35 an hour down to under A$16 an hour for a full day. Prices below are exclusive of GST; 10% GST is added at checkout.
Casual hire: paid upfront at the time you book. A 50% fee applies to cancellations made within 48 hours of the booking; cancellations made earlier than that are not charged.
Contracted arrangement: billed monthly, with payment due by the 15th of the following month. We require 14 days' notice to end a contract, with the account settled within 10 business days of the agreed final day.
GST: All listed rates are exclusive of GST. GST is added at checkout, and Equal Psychology issues a valid tax invoice with each booking.
Rooms are available to registered allied health practitioners, including psychologists, occupational therapists, speech pathologists, mental health social workers, accredited counsellors, dietitians, physiotherapists, osteopaths, and massage therapists. Before your first booking, we ask for your contact details, profession, registration or accreditation number, a current Working With Children Check, and a current certificate of currency for your professional indemnity and public liability insurance. We approve you once, and from then on you can book the rooms yourself.
For casual hourly hire, room hire is paid upfront at the time you book. There is no lease and no ongoing commitment; you pay only for the time blocks you use. For contracted arrangements, you are billed monthly, with payment due by the 15th of the following month.

Yes. The suite has a shared waiting area with seating, water, tea and coffee, and reading material. Clients can arrive a few minutes early without disturbing other practitioners.

Yes. Equal Psychology is a registered Welcome Here Project member, and our rooms and shared spaces are an actively inclusive environment for LGBTQIA+ clients and practitioners. Our practice uses affirming language and accommodates name and pronoun preferences on intake.
The rooms are easily accessed via lift, and accessible toilets are available on Level 3. If you or your clients have specific accessibility requirements, please get in touch before booking so we can talk through whether the rooms will meet your needs.
All renters must hold current professional indemnity and public liability insurance, and a current Working With Children Check. We ask for these before your first booking. Equal Psychology's insurance does not extend to your professional practice in our rooms.
